Life on the West Side

-I have to have my ears covered when I sleep

-I don’t like anyone to call me by my real name except my  hus

-I don’t answer numbers I don’t know

-I drink flavored coffee creamers more than I drink coffee

-I hate the smell of coffee shops, but I love the smell of coffee

-5.16.09 was the best day of my life…. but it just keeps getting better!

-I don’t like ice in my drinks

-Water is my beverage of choice…

-…unless we’re talking EtOH, then it’s either my killer Long Island (my mother can attest…) or my hubby’s Alabama Slamma

-I prefer to drink out of straws

-I can’t live without cheese. I tried, it didn’t work

-I love writing cards and letters, maybe because no one does it anymore. And c’mon, how awesome is it to get mail!?

-And on that note… what makes me really smile is receiving mail. Real mail. Not just bills and grocery fliers.

-I love my every couple monthly (although less frequently these days) cut and color sessions

-…And I love that my hairdresser and I are “friends – ” chatting, gossiping and filling in on each others lives. I hardly know her and I only see her a couple times a year!

-I was  born on a Monday, and years ago, I dreamed I’d die on a Saturday… Only occasionally do I think about it and pray I get my life together by Friday

-I love running when I’m good at it. I hate running when I’m bad at it. Lately, I’ve been getting better at it.

-I don’t like cold fruit

-I don’t like when the dentist tries to talk to you while they’re hands are in your mouth.

-I love looking at wedding pictures and wedding blogs online, for the people I do know and even those I don’t.

-I love baby clothes shopping… but not for me! This means that one of my friends has to get knocked up soon so I have an excuse to buy baby clothes!

-I like when I’m using a public restroom and the door has a PULL handle to enter it, but allows you to push when you leave.

-As for music choice, you really can’t go wrong with some country, namely, Rascal Flatts.  A close 2nd is most R&B

-I think Almond Joys might be the best candy of all time.

-Although my wedding was absolutely everything I’ve always dreamed of, I think eloping would have been way fun. I’m sure my mother is thankful that part did not rule over the “traditional wedding” part in my head.

-I don’t like the snooze button. In fact I can’t stand that stupid alarm yelling at me more than once.

-I don’t like when people don’t use their turn signals… unfortunately it happens OFTEN where I live.

-I find pure happiness in clean sheets, clothes still warm from the dryer, and not having to do the dance to get into my skinny jeans.

-I like nights IN more now more than nights out, a significant change from my (becoming not so) recent college days.
